Automated Planning and Scheduling in Manufacturing
Bucher, Michal ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hrubý, Martin (advisor)
Thesis deals with a problem of automated planning and scheduling in manufacturing. Problem is formally defined by mathematical model Resource Constrained Project Scheduling Problem. Based on this model scheduling system was developed, which is using the optimizer based on Genetic algoritms. Developed system was then tested in real manufacturing. System can also visualize schedules in form of Gantt chart.
Effectiveness of evolutionary algorithms
Němec, Jan ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on evolutionary algorithms. The goal of this thesis is to chooche a proper algorithm which will solve a chosen problem. In this case the chosen algorithm is the genetic algorithm and the chosen problem is the travelling salesman problem. The result of this thesis will be implementation of the algorithm, finding the proper setup and lastly the measurment of the results for various input data.

Design optimization of magnetic drive with permanent magents.
Krejčí, Petr ; Ondrůšek, Č.
This paper presents finite elements method (FEM) model of magnetic coupling for design optimization of inner part of magnetic coupling in order to increase the maximal torque. The genetic algorithm method in connection with FEM model of magnetic coupling was used for design optimization procedure.
